Overview

Phenomenal Aire Series D 3.2 is a compact HVAC-integrated ionization solution designed for commercial HVAC applications requiring greater airflow capacity than the Series D 1.2.

The D 3.2 can be applied to fan coils, heat pumps, PTACs, ductless mini-splits, air handlers, and other forced-air HVAC equipment. HEC evaluates equipment type, airflow, available installation space, voltage, filtration, and building automation requirements before recommending a Phenomenal Aire configuration.

  HVAC-Integrated Ionization

  Series D 3.2 uses Phenomenal Aire needlepoint bipolar ionization technology within compatible HVAC equipment or the conditioned airstream.

  Positive and negative ions interact with airborne particles and can encourage smaller particles to cluster together. These larger particle groups may then be more readily captured by compatible HVAC filtration.

  Series D 3.2 Capacity & Integration

  The Series D 3.2 is designed for HVAC systems with airflow capacities up to approximately 3,200 CFM.

  The product also includes alarm-contact capability that can support integration with compatible building automation systems, allowing facility teams to monitor operational status as part of a broader building-control strategy.
